Join Australia’s largest private health care provider as GP Liaison at Kareena Private Hospital.  Located in the Sutherland Shire, our hospital offers a wide range of acute care services, including surgical, medical, obstetric and rehabilitation services to patients and their families.

About the Role

This key position, reporting directly to the hospital CEO in collaboration with the Doctor Engagement Manager, will be responsible for doctor engagement, marketing hospital services and referral growth. 

This role is 3 days per week with some flexibility required for working outside normal business hours. Open driver’s license and personal vehicle is required. 

Remuneration will be considered in relation to the successful applicant’s experience and skills. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted plans to support growth in key specialties.
  • Promote specialists and build referrals through GP practice visits and a CPD program.
  • Develop targeted communications to profile new and existing medical specialists and services at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing GP practices in our catchment.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to advance business goals.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to accelerate results and meet stakeholder needs.
  • Maintain and grow our GP database, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Provide monthly reports to track and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and demonstrate ROI through increased referrals.

Your Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a business development or similar role in health care.
  • Understanding of medical specialists and the relationship with referrers including GPs, other specialists, and health care professionals.
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders in the health care industry.
  • Experience using data to monitor the market, build a pipeline of opportunities, and create growth strategies.
  • Experience with cold calling and influencing referrer groups.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the private health care sector.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Marketing or Health.
  • Event management experience.
