About the role

We are searching for payroll officers to join this supportive and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an experienced business and have an immediate impact on a values led team environment. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for; 

  • Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner
  • Preparation of payroll reporting.  
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
  • Monitor the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations.
  • Prepare and review payroll account reconciliations. 

About you

This position is well suited to a Payroll professional who prides themselves on their ability to deliver results. The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a payroll processing role. 
  • Good knowledge of Payroll regulations including superannuation, PRT and EA's 
  • Proven experience working in large organisations with national payroll environments
  • Management of leave reconciliations including long service leave
  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management
