Exciting opportunity for a talented Agile Team Coach / Senior Scrum Master to join a leading Australian Software Development House specialising in eHealth. This is a full time role offering a hybrid work set up based Inner North East Melbourne.
PURPOSE:
Coach 1 - 2 Agile Software Teams, in a SAFe context. Help to facilitate communication, co-ordination and co-operation on the Agile Release Train (ART). Kanban experience is also a plus.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to act a servant leader for the Agile Team
- Strong and proven people leadership skills to coach, mentor and engage teams
- Demonstrable facilitation skills\comfortable challenging peers and senior personnel in a positive way to improve outcomes
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with ability to express complex ideas clearly
- Ability to navigate cross-functional team dynamics, diffuse tension, and achieve results through collaboration and teamwork
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a highly complex environment
- A proactive and adaptable approach to change
- Ability to achieve relevant Scrum Master certification (SAFe Scrum Master, CSM accreditation, PMI Agile etc
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Previous experience in similar role for software development team that was applying Scrum principles, practices and theory.
- Previous experience in large-scale software delivery environment at an enterprise that was implementing SAFe
- Knowledge of development practices such as TDD, BDD, CI\CD, Release Pipelines
