Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our NSW Operations on a permanent basis.
The role of Site Manager will see you working across multiple sites in the Hunter Valley and be responsible for day-to-day management of fixed plant sites, shutdowns and projects.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Responsibility of budgets and project commercial deliverables.
  • Coaching and mentoring direct reports and indirect reports.
  • Customer meetings.
  • Review of estimates and tenders.
  • Management of lump sum and budget estimate, schedule of rates work.
  • Forecasting labour and budgets to meet customer needs.
  • Having direct reports (superintendents and senior supervisors).

What you will bring: 

  • Extensive operational, construction or maintenance background within the resources industry
  • Strong understanding in commercials, budgets/construction metrics, forecasting and change management (involving changes to scope, quantities, and timeframes)
  • 8 years minimum experience in a similar role
  • Understand and deliver the core elements of managing a major project.
  • Excellent people skills, with demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to facilitate collaboration between teams, whilst working autonomously.
  • Lead a team and deliver team management activities required for a project to achieve a highly productive and cohesive team.
  • Confident and capable user of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • A proven track record in effective health and safety management on site
  • A commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
