Looking for some flavourful Forklift operators for production/process workers for a dry blended ingredients, rubs, sauces, herbs and marinade company based in Heathwood. A small family owned business that started out in 1992, has worked its way up to become a leading provider of blended goods and butcher supplies. 

The roles:

A little sweet or a little spicy and all the flavours in-between, you will have the ability to take raw dry goods and mix/blend then to create cures, coatings, dry flavours and meat mixes. You must be able to lift a minimum of 10kgs consistently, with occasional lifts of up to 25kg. Be capable to follow basic recipe cards, bag, weigh and label goods accordingly. 

Forklift Operator – LF Ticketed Electric Crown High Reach, picking the ingredients to make a product.  Will be some full pallets and some part products, lifting bags up to 25kg to make up the ingredients list, needs to be picked in reverse order of mixing so first products in the mixer are at the top.  50% LF 50% Manual handling.

Production Labourer – working in mixing rooms.  Load raw materials into the mixers in order and then go to bag and stack product pallet – will be lifting up to 25kgs at the top loading raw ingredients into mixer, can be loading / stacking pallet with anything from a 500g bag up to 25kg bag or tub once the product is made.

Please note that this is a dusty environment. (Dust masks maybe required)

Hours    0700 – 1500 Monday – Thursday

               0600 – 1400 Friday

Requirements to be considered:

  • 6 months of previously food production or processing experience
  • A valid forklift ticket with a minimum 6+ months experience. 
  • Previous Manual Pick slip experience
  • Machine ops capabilities - weighing, batching, mixing will be highly regarded 
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment 
  • Physical fit for manual handling tasks
  • Adhere to HACCP regulations and demonstrate understanding of them 
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances
  • Basic housekeeping tasks, including clean ups between mixes 
  • Able to work in a team environment

Own hi vis and steel capped boots required, you will be provided with hair net/beard net  (as these are Mandatory items).
