Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled High Reach Forklift Operator to join our team at Omni Recruit in Richlands, QLD. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for operating high-reach forklifts in a cold room environment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Manual lifting of up to 15kg repetitively, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment
  • Use of RF Scanners to accurately track and manage inventory
  • Stacking and palletizing of boxes and crates, with attention to detail and quality
  • Generating shipping manifest labels, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  • Operating Toyota side Tyne forklifts, with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • High reach operation of up to 7/8 bays high, with a focus on precision and accuracy
  • Loading and unloading refrigerated trucks, with a focus on maintaining a safe and efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • A valid forklift ticket with 1+ years of experience in high-reach forklift operation
  • A positive, hard-working attitude, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • A strong work ethic, with a drive to meet and exceed targets
  • Reliable transportation and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Previous experience in a chiller room environment, with a focus on maintaining a safe and efficient workflow
  • High reach forklift experience and ticket, with a focus on precision and accuracy
  • A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing workflows
  • Full work rights within Australia
