We are looking for a Cyber Risk Analyst to work within the context of the broader GRC framework to assess and collaborate in resolving the Cyber Security risks.

You will be working alongside various Business Units to build and maintain systems registers, build and maintain risk registers, perform third party risk assessments, maintain PCI compliance, improve Security Awareness, and drive cyber risk management.

Based in Melbourne with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home, this role will suit someone who has a strong understanding of IT Security Risks, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), and improving Security Awareness within a business.

What does the role involve?

  • Work alongside the IT Manager of Security and Risk to maintain PCI DSS compliance across the Country Road Group
  • Work to proactively identify, assess, track, and collaborate in remediating Cyber Security Risks
  • Work across the business to maintain Systems and Information Risk Registers
  • Perform third party, and internal risk assessments
  • Work with Internal Audit and relevant parties to address audit findings
  • Work with External Auditors to complete audits
  • Contribute to company policies and other documentation as needed
  • Contribute to quarterly risk reports
  • Leverage awareness platform to deliver Security Awareness Training

What are we looking for?

  • 2-5 years’ experience working in information technology and or governance, risk, and compliance within a corporate environment
  • A strong understanding of risk management frameworks and applying them
  • A demonstrable understanding of data centre, SaaS, and cloud systems
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
  • The ability to work autonomously to deliver outcomes
  • The ability to make recommendations, and collaborate on implementing them
  • Strong attention to detail, and high levels of integrity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to engage business and technology teams to collaborate with them
