Mower Operator – Boroondara

  • Notting Hill Depot
  • Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.36pm
  • Flexibility to work overtime including weekends

About the Role:

Citywide are recruiting for a Mower Operator to join our Boroondara mowing team. This role will see you operating Front Deck Mowers, Brush Cutters and Blowers, as well as undertaking general parks, gardens and street scapes maintenance.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Mowing, detailing, litter removal, weed control
  • Safely operating and maintaining machinery
  • Ensuring all work is accurately recorded
  • Observing and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery
  • Demonstrating initiative/continuous improvement

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to operate front deck mowers, brush cutters etc.
  • General horticultural knowledge
  • Knowledge of herbicide application techniques
  • Team orientated, highly motivated and able to follow instructions
  • Knowledge and appreciation of OH&S
  • Current Victorian Manual Driver’s licence
  • Chemical Certificate
  • Traffic Management experience
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Flexibility to work overtime including weekends
  • Working with Children Card
