As an apprentice at RAC Auto Services, you will have the opportunity to learn from industry professionals, gain hands-on experience, and develop a solid foundation in automotive repair and maintenance.

Reporting to the Team Leader, this four-year full-time contract. This role requires flexibility and a highly motivated, can do, attitude.

What do you need?

Completed Cert II Pre-ApprenticeshipA valid WA 'C' class driving licenceGenuine passion for the automotive industry and a desire to pursue a career in automotive repair and maintenance.Excellent mechanical aptitude and a keen interest in learning about automotive systems and technologies.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team.Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.Must be punctual, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.

How will you learn?

Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and more.Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.Learn to use specialized tools and equipment safely and effectively.Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.Maintain accurate records of performed tasks and completed work orders.Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
