What you’ll work on:

As an Insights & Analytics Lead , you will bridge the gap between data, technical execution and strategic business outcomes. You are the voice behind the data, transforming complex datasets into clear actionable insights and communicating recommendations to the business to uncover new commercial opportunities. 

You will work closely with business stakeholders, identifying opportunities for automation or optimisation to enhance their customer experience, operations and improve processes. 

We are looking for someone with advanced analytical and modeling skills, with a proven track record of driving commercial performance and positively impacting key business metrics

Key Responsibilities:

70% of your time will be focused on insights/storytelling and working with stakeholders whilst the other 30% will be focused on developing statistical models. 

  • Strategic Insights & Analytics: Translate data into business recommendations, optimising customer journey and claims processes.

  • Process Automation:Using data to identify gaps or caveats in the business, looking for areas where performance can be improved and processes can be automated. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Data-driven business partner collaborating with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Customer Support and Operations to deliver measurable impact.

  • Experimentation: Experimenting with data, testing hypotheses and assessing model performance

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Analytics. 

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, particularly in a customer/product focused company - FinTech/Insurance would be a bonus. 

  • Proven experience in data analysis, statistical methods, storytelling and commercial insights.

  • Strong Python & SQL skills

  • AWS, Snowflake (ideal but not essential) 

  • Proven track record in driving automation and optimising business processes and initiatives. 

  • Strong collaboration skills to align data solutions with business goals

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills 

  • Experience working with ML frameworks or prediction models
