What’s the role?
An exciting opportunity has become available in our Technology, Data and Digital (TDD) division for a Business Analyst. In this role you will be an integral part of the dynamic Strategy & Portfolio Management Team - working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders - to deliver a major initiative within our Enterprise Systems & Publishing Operations team.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Assist various business units and functions in eliciting their business requirements and converting them into functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and customer stakeholders to conceptualize, finalize, and validate business rules.
  • Aid the development team in comprehending the business requirements effectively.
  • Contribute to the formulation of test plans and scripts.
  • Facilitate coordination among different departmental teams to address operational challenges.
  • Document and analyse lessons learned from project activities.
  • Generate and update process documentation as necessary to ensure clarity and consistency.

Who are you?
  • You are a highly motivated self-starter with previous working across technology
  • Possess a strong drive and initiative with over 5 years of experience in managing technology and digital projects within dynamic settings.
  • Demonstrate expertise in business process design, particularly in areas such as Document Management, Archiving and Digitisation, Rights Management, and Content Licensing.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive grasp of business analysis principles, coupled with familiarity with technology concepts and various project management methodologies.
  • Showcase adeptness in creative problem-solving, tailoring solutions to effectively address diverse business requirements across the organisation.
  • Excel in building and nurturing positive relationships across teams and with stakeholders.
  • Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling seamless interaction within large, complex organisational structures.
  • While experience in the Digital or Print Publishing industries is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
