Temporary Full Time (35 Hours per week) - for up to 2 years
Salary: $90,623 to $116,755 p.a. + superannuation + 9 day fortnight with hybrid working conditions.
Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience.
About us
Hornsby Shire is located on Sydney's upper north shore, approximately 25 kilometres north of the CBD. Known as the ‘Bushland Shire’, our local government area is characterised by bushland comprising national park, major waterways, natural reserves and rural landscape. The rest of the Shire combines urban, rural and open spaces.
About the role
In your new role, you will manage the delivery of quality landscape projects, in particular local play spaces and park amenities, undertaken by Council in relation to public reserves, open space and urban environments.
The position provides for a varied skill set crossing a wide range of professional competencies including landscape design, documentation and project management. Your high standard of project management, professional skills and customer service will be most sought after.
About you
You will have demonstrated experience in management of all stages of public landscape and/or park amenities building projects including planning, design, consultation, documentation and construction.
Excellent communication and customer relationship skills, along with sound judgment and negotiation skills will be required in this role.
You will have tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture and are eligible to become a Registered Landscape Architect, as determined by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
