Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Designer to join our team as a Landscape Architect. This is a Temporary Full Time position (35 hours per week) for up to 2 years.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of quality landscape projects, specifically local play spaces and park amenities, undertaken by Council in relation to public reserves, open space, and urban environments.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of professional competencies, including landscape design, documentation, and project management. Your high standard of project management, professional skills, and customer service will be highly valued.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in the management of all stages of public landscape and/or park amenities building projects, including planning, design, consultation, documentation, and construction.

You will possess excellent communication and customer relationship skills, sound judgment, and negotiation skills. You will also have tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture and be eligible to become a Registered Landscape Architect, as determined by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
