About Our Client

Our client is a leading international fashion retailer known for its contemporary designs and wide range of apparel and accessories across womenswear, menswear and kidswear. They are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stock Room Manager to ensure the efficient handling and organisation of stock at their busy Burnside Village Store.

About the Role

As the Stock Room Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team in maintaining the order and efficiency of the stock room, with high levels of stock management across 3 departments you will be managing inventory across the entire store, you will also be responsible for the overseeing the receipt and dispatch of goods in the online department. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the sales floor is well-stocked and that products are available for customers when needed. You will lead a team of 20 + and will be responsible for all management processes of this department.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the daily operations of the stock room, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and security of inventory.
  • Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate with the sales and buying teams to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Implement and manage stock-taking procedures and systems to minimize loss.
  • Train and supervise stock room staff, promoting a culture of efficiency and accountability.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in stock or inventory management, across supermarket, hospitality or retail management.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a large team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
