Overview of key responsibilities
The Technology Analyst plays an important role in maintaining the smooth operation of the helpdesk service and in working with the Technology team to consistently deliver a high standard of service to all users in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as those working remotely.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and customer focused individual keen to develop their technical skills and experience.
The range of duties includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all IT user related incidents and requests, while resolving user incidents/requests in a timely, courteous manner over the telephone, via email and/or in person;
  • Troubleshooting software issues individually and with the wider IT team as required;
  • Identifying common callers and common issues for escalation, in order to further trouble-shoot and solve issues;
  • Setting up, configuring and relocating IT equipment;
  • Registering and issuing loan IT equipment;
  • Troubleshooting hardware problems individually and with the wider IT team as required, and logging service calls with external service providers;
  • Setting up teleconferencing and video conferencing meetings including liaising with presenters and troubleshooting issues;
  • Recording helpdesk incidents and requests received vie email or telephone, teleconference and videoconferences set-up, IT equipment relocations, and other tasks in the helpdesk database;
  • Assisting with the on-going maintenance of computer asset tracking and updating; and
  • Other tasks as required from time to time.

About you
You have a strong interest and passion for technology, with some relevant experience —either as a recent graduate or up to two years’ experience gained in another setting, ideally in a professional services or corporate environment. You will possess a robust technical skill set and a dedication to excellence with a willingness to contribute to our high performing team.
  
You will be a performance orientated individual with sophisticated communication skills, strong attention to detail and a proactive, service-orientated approach to working.
