Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mid Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes. As a Mid Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the full bookkeeping cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
  3. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update accounting journals, ledgers, and other records as needed.
  4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  5. Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
  6. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business objectives.
  8. Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and adherence to financial standards.
  9. Assist with year-end audit processes and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
  10. Perform other ad hoc accounting and finance tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPA designation or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • Experience in a similar industry or environment (preferred).
