Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mid Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes. As a Mid Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full bookkeeping cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update accounting journals, ledgers, and other records as needed.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and adherence to financial standards.
- Assist with year-end audit processes and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
- Perform other ad hoc accounting and finance tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA designation or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Experience in a similar industry or environment (preferred).
