29Metals is an ASX listed, copper focused base and precious metals mining company with a portfolio of long-life producing assets and a pipeline of organic growth opportunities. The company has two producing assets: Golden Grove in Western Australia and Capricorn Copper in Queensland and a strategic tenement package and project in Redhill, Chile.

Our Golden Grove Mine located just a short 1-hour flight from Perth or Geraldton. With a 10-year mine life, our high-grade resource is supported by modern infrastructure providing a platform for future growth. 

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Golden Grove site. This is a permanent position, offered on a family friendly 8/6 roster FIFO from either Perth or Geraldton.

  The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and providing executable weekly maintenance plans;
  • Working within the Maintenance budget for all planned maintenance tasks;
  • Organising and chair weekly planning meetings to review and discuss draft Work Schedules for planned outages;
  • Compiling detailed work plans for shutdown tasks;
  • Maintaining data integrity of Pronto, incorporating the Equipment Register and the professional/technical library;
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure availability and delivery of services and materials
  • Demonstrating effective performance in achieving agreed HSEC goals that support departmental, site and company standards and performance objectives

What we are looking for:

  • Graduate Diploma or Certificate in Maintenance Planning from a nationally recognised institute
  • Trade qualified – Electrical/mechanical or relevant industry experience (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience within the mining (or similar) industry using dedicated planning software
  • A current manual driver’s license
