**Are you a proactive, strategic-minded, problem-solving Maintenance Planner?**

Located in the heart of Leederville, we have a full-time fixed term opportunity until 28th June 2024 as a **Maintenance Planner**. You will report to the Principal - Asset Capability.

You will work on capital programs to provide products and services that effectively and efficiently deliver the maintenance and operational planning activities to deliver required business outcomes. This will involve working with treatment plants and scheme investment programs across WA.

Monitor capital programs for assigned projects and ensure equipment lists, functional/equipment location and safety in planning activities are provided and sufficiently completed for maintenance program development purposes.

Support and work with regional staff in developing and packaging maintenance programs, documents, and requirements, in preparation of effectively delivering new and modified assets which are in line with capital program. This information is loaded onto SAP computerised maintenance management software (CMMS), which supports asset and system investigations for the regional portfolio of assets and schemes.

Your key stakeholders for capital program will include but not limited to project managers, reliability engineers, asset and planning technical experts, and regional service delivery teams. It will be encouraged for you to visit our regional field sites where the capital investments are in supporting the reliability function

Ultimately, your role will be to develop maintenance programs and upload these onto our CMMS.

**Your skills and attributes.**

You will hold a Trades or tertiary qualification in maintenance or engineering (mechanical or electrical).

With your analytical skills, you will demonstrate operational and problem-solving experience in technical issues, and capable of resolving the matters.

Understanding and knowledge of utilities equipment and processes would be advantageous.

You will have previous experience in maintenance planning processes and activities, and knowledge or awareness of reliability processes and principals.

Being skilled in SAP would be advantageous, otherwise familiarity with an alternative CMMS.

Strong communication (verbal and written) skills will be fundamental in this role as you will develop relationships with your key internal and external stakeholders.

Working with three other maintenance planners, you will have the adaptability to work as part of a team and to lead and drive yourself on each task.

Due to travel requirements and site visits, a valid WA Driver’s license will be required for this role.

Ultimately, your impact in this role will be to have effective and efficient maintenance programs for delivery which will reduce cost for the business and WA population in delivering water.
