Description
Are you an experienced Open Pit Mining Engineer seeking further challenges and an opportunity to broaden you technical skills by working across a range of sites, mining methods and commodities?
With Advanced Mining Production Systems, you will have the flexibility to experience a host of operations, mining techniques and leadership styles to further develop your technical and management skills. We specialise in assisting our clients’ mining technical services by providing a range of mining professionals in roles ranging from Production Engineer through to Senior/Principal Engineering and management roles.
AMPS is seeking suitably qualified and experienced engineers who are interested in:
• The opportunity to work on a range of projects and client sites
• Ongoing training and professional development in various mine design and scheduling software packages and engineering specific courses

• Sharing knowledge and upskilling, mentoring and training mining engineers within AMPS and the wider industry

About our role
Assisting clients with onsite engineering requirements in the following:
• Drill and blast design/production engineering/design engineering
• Mine planning and scheduling (daily to LOM/tactical)
• Mining infrastructure and project management
• Specialised mining improvement projects
• Mentoring, training and upskilling technical staff
About you
• Degree qualified Mining Engineer
• A strong commitment to quality and safety in the workplace
• A current Australian manual driver’s license
• Exposure and experience with mine design and planning software (preferably Vulcan, Deswik and/or Alastri)
• Passionate about learning new technical skills and a keen interest in improving your knowledge
• A great communicator and well-developed interpersonal skills
You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this role and be able to complete a full medical and National Police Clearance.
