Deputy Manager

As a Deputy Manager, you will oversee Fleet operations, ensuring all activities align with company goals and regulatory requirements. You will manage a team, drive continuous improvement, and provide efficient and effective operations within the Fleet areas for our Enfield site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team across various operational functions, including on-Road, Dispatch, Service Assurance, Transport Scheduling, and Fleet Management.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee vendor management and ensure effective collaboration with suppliers.
- Manage department budgets and optimize costs.
- Plan and schedule resources to ensure that department priorities are met.
- Recruit, develop, and motivate team members to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Continuously seek to improve team effectiveness and efficiency using quality-driven management principles.
- Ensure completion of audits and reviews of existing processes or documentation.
- Handle customer service issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
