As an OT Cyber Security Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining network integrity, ensuring cyber security, and facilitating integrations across our service portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer specialized guidance to network architects and contribute to the design and implementation of network security controls, upgrades, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address cybersecurity gaps, and lead the implementation and ongoing support of integrated services.
  • Work closely with project teams during handover and ensure effective knowledge transfer to other service team members.
  • Provide technical support to service delivery managers and technicians on cybersecurity and integration-related inquiries and take ownership of small project works and solutions at key sites.
  • Keep up-to-date with evolving cyber-attack tactics, techniques, and procedures, and incorporate continuous improvement to security tools and processes.
  • Provide operational support for various cybersecurity tools, including ongoing tuning and enhancements.
  • Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of cybersecurity tools.
  • Undertake routine patching and configuration tasks to ensure system security and integrity.

The Perfect Fit:

  • Hands-on experience within OT environments including BMCS Systems, Firewalls Systems Configuration and Maintenance, Intrusion Detection System, Virtualized Systems (Linux, RHEL, Windows, ESXI), Networking, VLANs, Redundancy VRRP, IPSEC tunnelling, and Windows Services.
  • Proficiency in Certificate Authentication, Group Policy, Active Directory, LDAP/s, KERBEROS, RADIUS, Process of Intendent Response, Cyber-related disconnection plans, Change Configuration Management, and Risk Management.
  • Familiarity with standards such as IEC62443, ISO9001, ISO27001, and NIST.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication abilities, and experience in providing network engineering services for local and wide area networks.
  • Applied experience in cyber security, demonstrated ability to work on complex projects, and effective time management skills.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing support of some key various market segments across the Sydney metropolitan area, (e.g. Infrastructure and transportation, Health, Data Centres and Commercial retail).
