The Opportunity

Due to ongoing business growth, we are looking for an excavator operator who has experience excavating around live assets. This position is permanent full-time offering a rewarding remuneration package including regular overtime.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operation of excavators ranging from 2.5 to 8 tonne
  • Excavating around water, gas or electrical assets
  • General labouring including site preparation and onsite support
  • Associate civils including Manhole/Pit alteration with rehabilitation

Your background may be from one of the following:

  • Pipe maintenance experience such as cleaning, pipe lining, CCTV or plumbing
  • Civil construction experience
  • Water or wastewater infrastructure
  • Or you might be looking to break into the industry, either way we would like to chat with you - We value our people and are ready to invest in you, providing all required training

You will bring:

  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • OHS Construction Induction Card (White card)
  • The ability to work on sites across the Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter Valley & some travel away work in Regional NSW
  • Good work ethic and positive work attitude
  • A strong focus on safety
  • HR or MR licence

To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test. Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
