**About the team**

The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure.

**The opportunity**
Right now, we have a 2 year fixed term opportunitiy available for a MR Gang and Truck Mounted Attenuator, TMA) Driver to join our maintenance and construction crew in Goulburn NSW. You will be experienced operating various Medium Rigid Vehicles and will receive on the job training to safely operate as a TMA Driver. We are seeking those that reside within a 50km radius from the Gouburn depot as you will be on call when required You will carry out the duties of a Road Worker Grade 3 or Bridge Worker Grade 3 and will also be able to:

- Competently operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes)
- Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow
- Operate a HIAB or similar truck mounted crane
- Carry out general road worker labouring duties of a Road Worker Grade 3

**About you**
We are looking for an experienced MR Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment.

Full on the job training will be provided to safely operate Truck Mounted Attenuator vehicles

You will also require a
- White Card
- MR Driver Licence
- Traffic Controller Card - Implement Traffic Control Plan, or ability to gain within 3 months of employment.
- Traffic Controller Card - Prepare Work Zone, or ability to gain within 3 months of employment
- Experience and understanding of local road networks across the district
- Experience as a Road Worker Grade 3 for construction and maintenance crews
- Experience as a Bridge Worker Grade 3 for Bridge maintenance crews

You take pride in your ability to effectively communicate with other workers and members of public and are dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment.

You’re prepared to work outside regular working hours (day+night works when required), attend after hour call-outs, and prepared to travel extensively throughout the state and work at locations away from the base station including camping away from home when needed.

Whilst not required, experience in operating plant (excavator, bobcat, padfoot/smooth drum roller) is advantageous but not essential.

**Wage and Benefits**
The wage for this position will come under MR Gang ($1,344.20) per week plus superannuation.
