What are we looking for?

Come and join our National Work + Road Claims team and work in the Toowoomba office. Ideally, we are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer with proven experience in the plaintiff personal injury space. We offer a flexible approach to work with genuine hybrid working options, and this role is permanent full time opportunity. You will form part of the wider Queensland Work + Road team.

In addition to taking on a wide range of challenging legal matters, you can manage and strengthen existing community relationships along with initiating and building new networks.

Day to day responsibilities will include: 

Management of a file load  Provide clear, practical and concise legal and commercial advice Identifying practical and innovative solutions for clients Building rapport with our clients in an empathetic and understanding way Ongoing business development in the local community

What will you bring?

Our successful candidate will be a committed and enthusiastic individual who possesses the following:

Degree qualified with a current practicing certificate Previous experience and a passion for Personal Injury law (workers compensation experience desirable) Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills Exceptional negotiation skills and an ability to communicate effectively and compassionately Experience in running multiple files end to end Demonstrated skills in effective network and relationship management Ability to exercise judgement and resolve problems quickly Be a team player with a friendly and compassionate demeanour
