This is a newly created position for a technology driven Project Manager to come onboard and drive the project delivery of a new Enterprise level Applications focused System upgrade initiatives. 

We are looking for a technical “hands-on” Project Manager who is skilled across project delivery and has a background managing projects that involve complex system enhancement and migration considerations that involve delivering major Enterprise Applications level upgrades and enhancement type projects.

This role plays a pivotal role in the delivery of new technology driven programs of work, and you would require proven systems implementation experience with knowledge of Enterprise level Applications implementations to be successful in this role.  

Day to day, you would be responsible for:  

  • The successful delivery of defined projects & programs within the Group.  This includes full project lifecycle plus the necessary preparation before and post project delivery.
  • End-to-end project management of the Groups specific technology initiatives, straddling both IT and business integration elements.
  • Work in alignment with the PMO structure set up and processes with responsibility to adhere to the overall framework. 
  • Project managing the Groups technology workstream elements end-to-end within projects that cross divisions.
  • Take responsibility for the detailed project scope, schedule, budget and resource plan in consultation with the project team members.
  • Working closely with all stakeholders involved in projects. 
  • Support of business case document development as needed.
  • Providing guidance to other team members who are assisting with support of the projects.
  • Implement project management processes and governance within each project.

Skills & experience required:

  • Sound understanding of project management methodologies and their application, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained at all times (PMBOK, Prince2 etc..).
  • Experience with delivering "technology" based projects, particularly in Enterprise Applications landscape, working across ERP’s, HRIS / HCM platforms, CRM etc...
  • A background working with Microsoft focused technologies and M365 suite Applications would be a nice added advantage in this role.
  • Project management experience with Applications & Systems integrations that impact business processes is desirable. 
  • Agile project delivery experience with supportive approach in driving this particular delivery model and framework.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose technology issues and recommend effective solutions, whilst examining and assessing risk & reward of the business proposals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management with tact and diplomacy.
  • Customer & stakeholder focused and excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to support change management elements in a dynamic working environment.
