- Effectively and efficiently leading capital projects.
- Employing proven project management skills to plan, monitor and document tasks throughout a project.
- Able to take responsibility for key functional aspects within the project, including: scope, risk, cost, schedule and quality.
- Putting safety at the heart of project delivery. Safety in comes first, always.
- Day-to-day management of projects through the complete life cycle, including successfully implementing from initiation through deployment and handover into operations.
- Working within multi-disciplinary teams of professionals to deliver targeted project outcomes, while fostering a collaborative and communicative project culture.
- Managing different forms of contract, ensuring compliance with contract terms, processing of payments and managing change.
- Employ a sound understanding of procurement in projects, tendering preparation and management, bid assessment and contract award for contractors and/or professional services.
- Preparing reports and communicating of project progress to a range of stakeholders, including schedule/milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, and promoting appropriate actions to improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years working in a Project Management role.
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Recognised Project Management Qualification is essential (e.g. AAPM, APM, PMI, PRINCE2, MSP) or equivalent.
- Experience working in the infrastructure, aviation, real estate and/or construction sector.
- Experience in Aviation is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in on-site contractor management.
- Experience operating at various stages in the project lifecycle.
- Sound understanding of engineering and design in delivery, as well as a solid understanding of safety practices in project delivery.
- Contract administration and management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
