About the Role
Joining our team at Wangaratta Private Hospital, you will provide comprehensive customer focused service to our patients, doctors and staff. You will provide administrative service to all aspects of pre-admissions, inpatient stay and the front office, including the provision of frontline customer service.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service. The ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of incoming and outgoing patients is a key skill needed for this role. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a team of doctors, nurses, medical professionals, administrators and non-clinical staff.
- Intermediate-advanced skills utilising the Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy
- Previous experience in hospital administration (highly desirable)
- Experience using Patient Information Systems i.e. Meditech (highly desirable)
- Certificate in Medical Terminology (Desirable)
- Experience in hospital mainframe systems (Desirable)
- A professional phone manner with experience managing incoming and outgoing calls
