About the role

St Paul’s College is a Catholic specialist school, providing education for  Prep to Year 12 students with a wide range of intellectual, physical, profound multiple and sensory disabilities, complex medical needs and the individual needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

St Paul’s College is committed to provide a child safe learning environment where every student can thrive, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time School Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to our students, ensuring their well-being and safety while at school.

About you

You will be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration with experience is a paediatric or school setting preferred.  You will be providing health care to children with complex medical needs. This position is based at St Pauls College Balwyn a State of the Art facility you will be joining a supportive team, enjoy ongoing professional development, work school hours, paid school holidays and purposeful and meaningful work. 

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA- Registered Nurse Division 1
  • CPR, First Aid qualifications HTLAID0011, Anaphylaxis, Epilepsy & Asthma (or desire to obtain)
  • Current WWCC
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Primarily to work on Thursday and Fridays, school hours
  • Previous work experience with children and young people, preferably in school or paediatric setting would be an advantage
