A leading electrical engineering and automation solution provider working across diverse industries such as water, mining, oil & gas, defence and industrial manufacturing. Based in Brisbane and with offices Australia wide they provide customisable electrical and automation solutions for industrial process plants to increase performance and maximise efficiency.

The Position
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the Brisbane team - please note: no relocation assistance will be offered. With a keen understanding of working to quality, time and budget constraints you will need a client focused approach and a willingness to supervise and mentor junior staff.

Duties include:

  • Detailed electrical design and documentation for key client projects.
  • Ensure compliance to Australian standards and regulations.
  • Focus on quality, time, budget, HSEQ and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and drafters.

Skills & experience required:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, RPEQ certified or eligible to obtain.
  • Demonstrated track record in electrical design with a focus on LV systems.
  • Proficiency in PowerCAD, ETAP, PTW or similar.
  • Familiarity with control systems, networking and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of any of HV, hazardous area design or machine and functional safety will be highly regarded.
