Senior Communications and Engagment Officer - Temp Assignemnt 

Are you a strategic communications professional with a passion for impactful storytelling and public engagement?

Im currently working with a public sector client to find a Senior Communication and Engagement Advisor, driving evidence-based communication plans and campaigns.
In this role, you’ll build strong client relationships, lead project management efforts, and oversee the delivery and evaluation of data-driven communication strategies.
You’ll manage external campaigns and marketing, while supporting various communication tasks, events, and activities aligned with departmental priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the delivery of strategic communication and engagement plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful implementation
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices in communications

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Victorian Public Sector values and commitment to public sector integrity
