About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Digital, the Digital Performance Specialist will play a strategic role in optimising digital marketing efforts to drive growth and profitability in the B2C and B2B spaces. The primary objective is to establish, execute, and measure digital marketing campaigns across paid social, paid search, display, and email for AST Brands. This involves reporting on results, recommending adjustments to maximise performance, and achieving key metrics such as conversion rates, ROI, and customer acquisition costs. This role requires a data-driven approach to strategize, implement, and refine digital marketing campaigns to meet business objectives.
Success in this role will be measured by the performance of paid media campaigns, improvement in key digital metrics, and the ability to drive digital growth through continuous optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data-led digital performance strategies to optimise conversion rates and minimise cost per result across key media channels.
- Build and optimise full-funnel campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand communications and wider business objectives.
- Manage the execution of the Always-On paid media strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand requirements.
- Collaborate with brand marketing team to prioritise models and optimise tactical campaigns.
- Manage email marketing platforms such as HubSpot to design, execute, and optimise email campaigns that nurture leads and drive conversions.
- Work closely with creative to adopt best practices from Meta, Bing and Google, ensuring all recommendations are tested and implemented.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Brand and Digital teams to ensure seamless integration of digital campaigns.
- Oversee the tracking and reconciliation of all performance investment activities.
- Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, implementing new strategies as appropriate.
- Ensure that all digital campaigns align with the broader marketing strategy and contribute to overall business goals.
- Additional digital performance-related activities as required.

The Successful Applicant:
Are you an imaginative, focused, team player that relishes the opportunity to help deliver outstanding service, ideas and results?
- Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, with a focus on performance optimisation and paid media.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make strategic recommendations.
- Experience in managing digital campaigns across various platforms, including SEM, Paid Social, SEO, and Email.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager required, experience with TikTok Ads highly regarded.
- Experience with email service provider / CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage and optimise digital marketing budgets to achieve desired results.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Desirable:
- Qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in a high-growth direct-to-consumer brand, preferably within the skincare or consumer products sector.
- Knowledge of CMS systems and eCommerce platforms; extra points if you have experience with SAP/Hybris.
- Ability to design on Canva
- Experience in social media content scheduling and management
