As The IT Operations Supervisor/Manager you will be responsible for building, managing and coaching a team of IT Support Engineers who oversee and maintain computer hardware and software systems for Harris Farm Markets to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of IT Support Engineers and IT Support department’s day-to-day operations.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships across teams and with staff/clients.

• Implement and promote IT Support processes to improve customer satisfaction.

• Oversee and evaluate team performance.

• Respond to escalated support issues.

• Assess support statistics and prepare detailed reports.

• Participate in business meetings.

• Prioritize IT-related problems as they come into Service Desk and escalate when necessary.

• Ensure ongoing training for support staff; advise support staff on career planning; maintain and analyse training records.

• Actively participate and contribute to internal projects to improve Harris Farm business processes.

• Execute and Coordinate IT Support projects.

• Management of IT Assets – Servers, Desktops, Telephones, Mobile Devices, and other IT peripherals.

• Administration, maintenance, and rollout of hardware & software

• Work with 3rd Party Vendors – Purchase Orders, Escalations, etc.,

• Continuously expand knowledge of Harris Farm Support best practices, procedures, and systems

• Prioritize, balance and delegate workload, to achieve organizational goals.

Skills & Competencies

• 8+ years proven experience in IT Support

• 3+ years proven leadership experience building, managing, training and developing a team of IT Support Engineers (Experience in Retail a plus)

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)

• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting/analytical skills and a critical thinker

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks

• ITIL, Service Management and Project Management skills – Change/Problem/Incident Management

• Ability to work in high pressure environments

• Ability to identify and resolve issues regarding IT in a timely fashion

• Ability to effectively communicate with senior management to achieve organisational goals

• Experience managing IT Operations within large-scale production environments, including hardware, software, mobile devices, POS systems

• Hands-on experience in core Microsoft Windows Architecture (Windows Server, Desktops, Office365, Active Directory, Azure AD, SQL Server, etc.,) and basic understanding of Linux

• Understanding of Networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Firewalls)
