Help at Home by Montefiore are seeking motivated and committed individuals to work with exclusive private clients to provide the very best personal in home care.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting participants with daily living skills and community activities that best suit their unique needs; they may include, helping with housework, personal hygiene, giving medication, and providing transportation to appointments and community events.
  • Carrying out care plans and health evaluations
  • Implementing the appropriate intervention techniques and, if available, the psychosocial supports described in their behavior support plan
  • suture extraction and wound dressing changes

To be successful in your application you must meet the following criteria:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse (IV Qualified) or Enrolled Nurse
  • Available during the week and on weekends
  • Covid-19 Vaccine recommended but not Mandatory
  • Drivers Licence and Car with Comprehensive Insurance
  • Available for an immediate start
  • Working with Children Check
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Impeccable presentation at all times
  • Experience in managing clients with challenging behaviours 
  • Skills/experience in working with diversity, including young people who are culturally and linguistically diverse
  • Excellent working knowledge in Mental Health services
