They are looking for a Project Scheduler to join the PMO and play a vital role in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Reporting to the Project Director, the role will be responsible for developing, maintaining and analysing project schedules, identifying critical path activities and implementing schedule optimisation strategies to mitigate risks and maximise resource utilisation. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex project data and identify trends, patterns and insights, therefore, is very important to the role. 

There are a bunch of different and complex projects and programs of work on the go in the environment, and the successful candidate must be very detailed and able to put together multiple different schedules, to build out a master plan of where each project is heading and the most efficient way to get there, taking into account all conflicts, challenges, deviations, delays and risks and propose corrective actions and mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to project timelines. 

This is a role for a project scheduler who has been around the block and can comfortably plan and schedule complex programs of work, someone with resilience that can hit the ground running and function effectively in a very busy, complex and fast paced environment. 

Must-haves for the role include:

  • 5 years proven experience as Project scheduler in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, One Plan or similar tools. 
  • Proven experience in fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement within the project team.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) or equivalent is a definite plus. 
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g PMBOK)
  • Demonstrated experience in working on large scale SAP S/4HANA projects would be an advantage. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 3 days work in the office, based in Docklands. 

This is a12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of an extension.
