Tronox is a US listed multinational mining, mineral separation, and chemical manufacturing company. We are a mineral sands miner and the only titanium dioxide pigment producer in Australia.

About the Role:

We are searching for Process Plant Operators across our operations in the South West. That being:

Pigment Plant in Australind Chlorine Plant in Kemerton

PLEASE NOTE - this is a residential role and you must live with in 45 min commute to site.

Requirements:

Must be technically minded. Previous experience preferred. Must be fit to perform physical work outside and comfortable to work at heights and in confined spaces. Must be able willing to work rotating shifts. Must be comfortable working in a hazardous environment. Wearing task appropriate PPE, clean shave policy applies for breathing apparatus if required

Process Plant Operator - Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitor and control plant processes and equipment to maintain optimal plant performance. Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain process equipment, including pumps, valves, and control systems. Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards. Adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety inspections, and respond to safety incidents or emergencies. Coordinate with production supervisors and planners to prioritise production schedules. Maintain accurate records of production activities, process parameters, and equipment maintenance tasks. Identify, report and troubleshoot process issues, equipment malfunctions, and production bottlenecks. Identify opportunities for process optimisation and improvements.
