Your New Role:
Binah is hiring Project Engineers to work on both new and existing projects and drive the success of high-end residential projects across the NSW South Coast. As a key member of our site delivery team, you will report directly to your Project Manager and collaborate closely with site staff. Your responsibilities will include adhering to construction schedules, maintaining accurate site diaries and forecasts, managing site personnel, and implementing OH&S protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule Adherence: Ensure construction schedules are met and manage any deviations effectively.
- Site Documentation: Write and maintain accurate site diaries and forecasts to track project progress.
- Personnel Management: Oversee site personnel, providing direction and support to ensure project efficiency and adherence to timelines.
- OH&S Protocols: Implement and enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Schedule Production: Create detailed 2 and 4-week schedules for the Site Manager, ensuring all site activities are planned and executed efficiently.
- Design and Procurement: Leverage strong design, procurement, and contract management experience to contribute to project success.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, sub-contractors, and internal team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Relevant construction degree and qualifications.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience with tier 1 or 2 contractors or respected builders, with a proven track record on $50M+ Australian construction projects.
- Tenure: Strong tenure with current or previous employers, demonstrating reliability and expertise.
- Responsibility: Full responsibility for all site aspects of the project, showcasing your ability to manage complex construction activities.
- Scheduling Expertise: Ability to produce detailed 2 and 4-week schedules for effective project management.
- Skills: Strong design, procurement, and contract management experience, coupled with effective communication skills with clients, sub-contractors, and internal teams.
