We are currently seeking a Projects and Inspection Engineer to handle on-site inspections and project management for Trelleborg Marine Systems Australia. This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class engineering team and contribute to the success of our ambitious projects. As a Projects and Inspection Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring flawless execution of port berths assessments, generating comprehensive reports, facilitating equipment replacement, and managing projects from design to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and coordinate site inspections for port berths.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure effective communication.
- Generate detailed condition reports and maintenance recommendations.
- Submit accurate quotes and tender proposals.
- Strictly adhere to safety procedures and ensure compliance.
- Support project management from design to delivery.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and manage budgets.
- Ensure strict quality assurance and compliance.
- Collaborate with clients on project progress and requirements.
Requirements:
- Equivalent experience in Engineering or Construction Management will also be considered.
- 5-10 years' proven experience in an engineering or on-site role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage travel schedules and work autonomously.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of marine/infrastructure construction and fabrication processes.
Behavioral Characteristics:
- Proactive and customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and planning abilities.
- Collaborative individual dedicated to upholding quality standards.
Travel Requirement:
Frequent travel within the Australia and Oceania sales region (20-50% of working days) for site inspections and client project meetings.
