Aboutthe role

We arecurrently seeking an intermediate level experienced Legal Secretaryto join our Restructuring & Insolvency team based in ourMelbourne office. 

The team actfor Australia's largest banks and financial institutions on a rangeof insolvency, turnaround and securities enforcement matters acrossa range of industries. 

This rolewill assist a Partner, Senior Associate, and a Lawyer in all areasof secretarial support, including managing crucial teamadministration, handling client queries and managing the monthlybilling process.

Whatdoes the role involve?

Diary management Administrative support to the partner and fee earners in the practice group Managing confidential firm information and opening new matters Inputting and maintaining client data into client relationship software (Interaction) Assisting with client queries Completing and overseeing the monthly billing process

The idealcandidate will have 3+ years' experience as a Legal Secretarywithin the Restructuring & Insolvency practice group or priorexperience in a similar role.

To besuccessful in this role you will ideally have experience working ina medium to large sized law firm with a Restructuring &Insolvency practice area and be highly organised. You shouldbe able to work efficiently and use your initiative, as well asbeing proactive in your approach to tasks and showing exemplaryattention to detail.

StrongMicrosoft Office skills are essential, as are excellentcommunication skills. You will be capable of using automatedbilling systems and client relationship management software (EliteEnterprise and InterAction preferred).
