Scope of Works

Seeking an experienced Test Analyst for our government client to support the delivery of the Increasing NHI Adoption project across multiple Clinical systems and perform a range of tasks including:

• test analysis, test condition identification, design, development and execution of test cases for system, system integration, user acceptance and production verification testing

• consult and gather input from business SMEs and development team in developing or supporting the development of user acceptance and production verification testing

• facilitating test case reviews

• recording of test results and evidence

• test data identification and creation

• troubleshooting test failures and errors

• raising defect records, participation in defect triage, and retesting fixes

• identification of regression tests in area of change

• create and maintain test case to requirement traceability

• raise risks and issues relating to testing to Test Manager

• provide test progress report and status updates.

Deliverables

Support project delivery and take responsibility for the following:

• consultation with project team, end-users and other key stakeholders to manage assigned test activities

• complete and provide review feedback on requirements, specifications and test cases

• test case creation, execution and management

• completing other tasks as required from time to time.

Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience in a hands-on systems integration testing role, web application and portals.

• Demonstrated experience in manual testing methods and tools such as Jira.

• Demonstrated ability to analyse and contextualize functional requirements and to translate the requirements into test cases. Ability to gather more detailed requirement from subject matter experts if required.

• Ability to troubleshoot and narrow down the specific conditions causing failure.

• Intermediate skills with SQL Server databases.

• Ability to identify product risks for targeted testing.

• Demonstrated accountability for reporting and reconciliation on testing outcomes to the Test Manager and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience in developing and executing automation testing possibly using SmartBear or similar testing automation tools.

• Experience in Health or similar systems will be well regarded.

• Experience working in a large scale/multi-year program environment will be well regarded.

• University degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field.

• High level social and written skills with ability to effectively support colleagues and stakeholders in the project and other interested stakeholders.

• Ability to work either in a large team environment with members of diverse cultures and backgrounds or remote offices connected to Darwin.

• Disciplined and accountable for supporting and maintaining work products.

• Behaves in a respectful and professional manner, maintaining high integrity and transparency when delivering work.
