UGL has a current opportunity available for a Senior Cost Controller to join our site based team in Gladstone, QLD. This opportunity will see you join a Tier 1 company with a highly experienced team who work together to develop and provide solutions for our customer.   

  

About the role  

In this role, you will provide cost control and administration support to the broader team and UGL project stakeholders across various contracts. This role is central to achieving the organisation’s financial objectives through meticulous financial management and strategic partnership.     

   

About You   

You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:   

  

·       Degree in commerce or accounting or similar and min 3 years’ experience in broad financial roles

·       Lead / coach finance teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

·       Project and site experience in a similar role

·       CPA/CA qualified is desirable

·       Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

·       Maintain the data integrity of the contract financial data in SAP

·       Understand and comply with all company procedures
