Where the team fits in
The Listings tribe in the Agency Services group build and operate the systems that support REA’s ability to interact with customers from across the REA business.
The Listings Squads are responsible for the systems that power our listing ingestion and publication – both legacy and new, the evolving Partner Platform APIs as well as playing a key role in helping to drive a path for our customers away from legacy systems like Agent Admin and Agent Desktop and into new systems like Ignite. Programming languages in use by the team are primarily a combination of Scala and Ruby.
The Galvanise program serves the dual purpose of reducing REA’s risk exposure to the ageing Listings Platform and accelerating our customers’ adoption of our flagship customer-facing portal, Ignite.
