We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Network Designer at South Metro Depot in Forrestdale on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
About this role
As the Distribution Network Designer, you will be required to undertake estimation and complex technical tasks associated with design, construction and maintenance of Western Power or customer facilities connected to the Distribution Network. To assist with investigations and support process improvement activities were required. You will also be required to:
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
Diploma / Advanced Diploma in a relevant electrical discipline At least 6 to 7 years’ post qualification experience in distribution network related activities with a thorough knowledge of principles of the relevant discipline and a sound understanding of the methods and practices Knowledge of Distribution Engineering standards, regulations, and procedures applicable to the Section and Stream is necessary. Sound IT skills in required programs and systems Have ability to complete project/assignment within specific guidelines. Demonstrated skill in priority setting, activity planning and organizing. Demonstrated skills in problem solving and root cause analysis. Have skill in developing and maintaining work standards. Demonstrated teamwork and conflict resolving skills. Able to identify and to develop methods, processes, and systems for continuous improvement.Joining Western Power
