Job Description

As a Senior Accountant you will utilise your expertise and work directly with managers and partners to deliver high quality services and advice to clients to clients. As a Senior Business Services Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Preparation of tax returns and advising on taxation strategies
  • Being the primary point of contact for a range of clients across industries
  • Liaising with the ATO and other external stakeholders
  • SMSF compliance
  • Involving in team training and mentoring with responsibilities to help grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role within public practice. Moreover, it is vital you have a proven track record building and nursing client relationships. The successful Senior Accountant will meet the following criteria:

  • CA or CPA qualified
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within public practice
  • Expertise in accounting, taxation and SMSF's
  • Demonstrated experience in a client facing role
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
