We require a trade qualified Maintenance Fitter with extensive experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment.

Working on automated process machinery where general maintenance and strong fault-finding skills enable our machinery to achieve high levels of performance with minimal downtime.

The opportunity:

Visy Board Gepps Cross

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Option of Perm nights/ rotating dependent on candidate.
  • Machining, welding & fabrication, fault finding.
  • Installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Use of continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Understanding of OH&S requirements, HACCP.

  • A strong work ethic.
  • A team player but able to work alone.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • A Restricted Electrical B Class license would be an advantage.
