Our client, a well-established and respected Not-For-Profit Organisation is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to join their team. The Senior Facilities Manager if overseeing a portfolio of community housing properties and leading a team.

The Role:
The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for the facilities management and life-cycle planning for a portfolio of community housing properties.

They will lead a team of 4 direct reports and liaise with various stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance & Life-Cycle Planning: ensuring property portfolio is maintained through planned maintenance, updating assets at end of tenancies, up keeping delivery of compliance and fire safety programs, take ownership of the long term life cycle maintenance and forecasts
  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management: managing team across the region, offering support and mentorship, liaising with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Contractor Management: build strong relationship with multi trade contractor used across the portfolio, ensure delivery is in line with quality and budget outlined
  • Reporting & Budgets: Monthly reporting, prepare forecasts and contribute to business plan for long term life cycle maintenance, manage the budget

Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant Facilities/ Asset Management experience and:

  • Care and passion for the industry
  • Excellent team leadership and stakeholder management
  • Strong reporting and financial literacy
