About the Role

:

As a Category Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing insight-led strategies to enhance customer outcomes. You will lead range reviews, customer meetings, and the development of new product launches. Your role will also involve executing best practice category strategies and insight-based projects.

What You Will Do:

Develop insight-led and quantified category vision and drivers for joint customer category planning.

Lead range reviews and key customer meetings.

Provide best-in-class range and space recommendations based on shopper insight and POG principles.

Lead insight-led story development for new product launches, key initiatives, and priorities.

Execute best practice category strategies and insight-based projects.

Generate insights for improvements and ideas to support internal collaboration.

Influence through insights to achieve commercial outcomes.

Conduct in-depth analysis and understanding of pricing principles and promotional assessment.

Develop and maintain best-in-class analytical tools including volume builders, NPD trackers, pricing trackers, and promotional evaluation.

Who You Are:

Bringing exceptional communication and presentation skills, along with experience in delivering best-in-class Category Reviews within the corporate Grocery sector. You will also:

Have 5+ years of experience as a Category Development Manager or a high-level National Account Manager.

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing.

Be capable of partnering effectively and working across teams.

Demonstrate strong analytical abilities and derive actionable insights from data.

Pay attention to detail and understand the importance of data integrity.

Have experience with Quantium, Unify, Circana & IQVIA (scan and shopper data).

Possess Space Management experience (desirable but not essential).
