About the opportunity  

Reporting to the Forecast and Replenishment Manager, as Supply Planner, you will be responsible for all functions of the allocations & replenishment of products in our Retail Merchandise portfolio of product groups to our stores. As part of this role, you will develop effective allocations and replenishment strategies, management of inventory related data in conjunction with the category teams and provide operational inventory support. As a key contact point for inventory queries, you will liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders on inventory related matters for both our CPO and LPO sites

What you'll deliver with us     

  • Development and execution of effective allocation and replenishment plans to meet business sales and service objectives whilst optimizing store inventory and keeping minimal operational costs  
  • Maintain and develop both the promotional and replenishment modules in SAP to support Australia Post retail categories and maintain relevant parameters in ERP solution
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders on an ongoing basis including supply chain fulfilment and retail operations, category teams to develop effective partnerships to achieve store inventory targets mitigate inventory risks
  • Regular store sales and inventory KPI reporting and analysis to support strategic decisions and achieve objectives including ad hoc analysis

About you     

You are an experienced professional looking to work in a faced-paced and dynamic team. You have proven analytical skills with relevant exposure to both allocations and replenishment in a disciplined retail environment. You are a fast learner who can work autonomously and punctually through effective prioritisation. You are a strong team player who is comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels with strong business acumen and presentation skill equipped with effective communication. You possess advanced excel reporting skills with exposure to business intelligence applications an advantage.

You’ll also need   

  • 3+ years experience in allocation analyst type role
  • Experience in a FMCG/ Retail industry
  • Existing knowledge of SAP allocations and replenishment module 
  • Previous experience working within a retail catalogue environment    
  • High level attention to detail and effective prioritization
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
