About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our Graffiti Removal team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This position will be apart of a small team ensuring the timely identification and effective removal of graffiti within the Blacktown Local Government Area.

An ideal applicant will have sound knowledge and experience in graffiti removal techniques using high pressure cleaners, paint and chemical removers, hold a relevant trade qualification and be competent in computer applications and the use of mobility devices to record work in the field. 

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

• Appropriate work-related trade qualifications
• Experience removing graffiti from all types of surfaces using high-pressure cleaners, paint and chemical removers
• Current class C driver’s licence
• Demonstrated experience using computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to direct and supervise staff
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of customer service in a community role
• Ability to work within a team environment.

Desirable:

• Staff supervision experience
• Post trade or advanced certificate in a work-related field
• Class MR driver’s licence.

Remuneration and benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

• Entry level for this position starts at $1,265.47 per week
• 38-hour working week
• Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight
• Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
