The role
ALS Geochemistry is looking for a Trades Assistant to maintain our equipment across both sites in Kalgoorlie .
Working in a close-knit team, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and assist with routine maintenance, fixing equipment across the two sites, and attending to breakdowns as required.
This full-time role will be responsible for:
The Essentials
Current Forklift licence (preferred). Trade qualifications are not necessary. However, previous experience with power tools & equipment on a professional or personal level is essential. Previous fault-finding and repair experience is highly regarded Welding and grinding experience desired. Excellent work ethic Committed to a safety culture while maximising productivity The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision whilst being committed to the work of a team Reliable, physically fit, and prepared for manual tasks.
