Job Title: Trades Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our team at Brooks Hire in Kalgoorlie. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring our earthmoving equipment is in top condition.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Detail and clean equipment to the required standards on a tight schedule
  • Identify and report any issues to your supervisor
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
  • Assist tradesmen with various tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Previous detailing experience (desirable)
  • Previous experience working with heavy equipment (desirable)
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
  • Forklift and high-risk work licenses (desirable)
  • Understanding of OH&S regulations
  • Ability to pass a medical, including a drug and alcohol test
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
